Get more from your existing building with RCx.
Colorado Springs Utilities’ (Springs Utilities) Retro-Commissioning (RCx) Program helps commercial building owners and operators identify practical ways to improve building performance, reduce energy use, and lower operating costs. Springs Utilities and Michaels Energy have collaborated to offer this survey to eligible commercial and industrial customers. Implemented by Michaels Energy, the program is designed for Springs Utilities commercial and industrial customers with facilities over 50,000 square feet.
Here's what you'll get with RCx from Springs Utilities:
- A clear path to compliance for Colorado's Building Performance Standards
- Rebates for any eligible projects, helping you offset upgrade costs
- Springs Utilities will cover 75% of the study cost
We start with a thorough investigation of how your facility’s equipment operates, from HVAC systems to chillers and more. We'll deliver a full report—check out a sample here—highlighting the best opportunities for your building. Then, we'll work closely with your controls vendor, who can implement our recommendations to fine-tune and enhance your facility's performance, ensuring everything runs as efficiently as possible. This approach helps reduce energy bills, improve occupant comfort, and extend the life of your equipment.
